Bredex GmbH has announced that version 2.0 of GUIdancer, the automated GUI test tool, will be released towards the end of this year. The tool has been extended to cover RCP, SWT and HTML applications as well as Swing. Tests for these toolkits are created without programming, scripts or code. Specification of flexible, reusable tests can begin before the application is ready and can keep up with frequent iterations making GUIdancer particularly well-suited to test-driven-development and agile processes.
