For pure retro amusement, I went into HMV the other day and bought some CDs, looking at the covers to try and determine whether I'd like the sound. I even bought In Rainbows. Gosh, they're bulky. Newbay colleagues were amused later as I nearly ripped my hands trying to to tear open Black Mountain's Into Future. The music industry just doesn't get it - even when you buy a CD they don't want you to use it.
Today I tried to find out if there was any point going to the shop to rent a Vid (yes, I still call them Vids). I failed. Chartbusters.ie and Xtravision have poor enough websites, Chartbusters seems to be broken altogether. The Moviestar.ie site is light-years ahead of those two, except when I was subscribed, the new releases tended to not to get sent even when they were at the top of the queue.
