Filming RedMonkOne

As with last year, RedMonk will again be hosting part of CommunityOne during the first day of JavaOne (or the day before if you prefer), May 5th, 2008. We like to run these in classic barcamp, unconference style. We’ll be putting up a wiki soon to let people suggest topics, sign up as attendees and all that. Feel free to just leave a comment below if you’ve got a topic, and we’ll seed it in.

In my backyard, I’m putting together an RIA panel with (hopefully) some JavaFX and Adobe people. If you think you’d be good for that, leave a comment below or contact me otherwise. Also, I’m hoping to get a talk from some of the Nitobi fellas - as always, the fact that they make a business out of selling Ajax and RIA widgets behind-the-firewall is fascinating, along with the public web stuff they do.

Many people have told us how much they enjoyed “RedMonkOne” last year, and it was definitely because of the people who came. As such, I hope to see you, dear reader there, whether you just want to listen in or you want to get more involved.

Disclaimer: Sun is a client and is paying for our services for RedMonkOne.
