Last week, I was co-host once again with Sun’s Brandon Whichard on the Identity Buzz podcast. We talked with Daniel Raskin about The Fedlet, which is a small, light-weight way to get identity federation setup with Sun tools. Check out Daniel’s screencast.

Download the episode directly here, or subscribe to the RSS feed in iTunes or other podcatcher to have it auto-downloaded.

I had the chance to ask Daneil about different use-cases for this federation stuff and how it fits together (or doesn’t) with OpenID, OAuth, and other Identity 2.0 stuff. From the demo I saw ahead of time, it looks like they’ve thrown together a quick and easy way to wire up SAML-based trust between two end-points.

Disclaimer: Sun is a client and is paying for my participating in Identity Buzz.
