“For the quarter ended March 31, Pervasive reported net income of $935,000, or 5 cents a share, on revenue of $10.8 million. That compares with net income of $859,000, or 4 cents a share, on revenue of $10.4 million for the same period last year.”
If true, then Microsoft would be making the smart move to lease Office rather than sell it. Leasing IT always makes customers happy by seemingly making it cheaper, which means vendors are happy because they don’t loose money.
