While at RSDC ‘08, I had the chance to talk with IBM’s Laura Bennett, Manager of the alphaWorks Team. I start out by asking her to explain what alphaWorks does, the life-cycle of projects that go through it, and what new projects and services we’ll be seeing from alphaWorks soon.

We then talk about developerWorks briefly, mostly focusing on how upcoming social networking features will help users find other users who can help them out, filter the available content, and also hook them up closer to IBMers and other community members.

Also, check out this CNet interview with Laura for some more details on the upcoming features and projects we talked about.

Disclaimer: IBM is a client, paid for T&E to RSDC, and sponsored this video.
