Feed Description: Distributed Reflections of the Third Kind
I already mentioned it a couple of times that Emacs is running on Nokia N810. Today, I installed it. One of the biggest hurdles I had to take - not such a big hurdle at all - is to apt-get install some of the required libraries myself. I installed the X version, but I’m thinking about downgrading to the no-X version instead; much easier to use than the X version.
A couple of gotchas you would have to know: The meta key is the lower key of the keys left from your display.
… and by the way, this is all running on Diablo, in case you were wondering about that.
My first experience: it’s quite good. I think I will try to install nxml-mode, to see if that works. In that case, I can even edit DocBook documents on my Nokia.
