I am sure you have noticed that Apache ANT is not involved directly in Android Application rapid prototyping. I believe that there is still a continuous build role for Apache ANT to serve in the Android Developer's toolbox. Part of that role made be Aspect Weaving as part of porting process.

Part of that role may be testing, report generation, and debugging as Android teams get beyond one person.
