Feed Description: A Weblog about Java programming and digital convergence on mobile devices in such areas as P2P and collaborative technology.
First, I want to thank the following companies for their renewed interest in this Cross Platform Code for Android and iPhone and my blog posts about that subject such as:
Google
T-Mobile
Motorola
SonyEricsson
Ericsson
Apple
You renewed interest in this subject and my blog when I cover this subject tells me that I might be on the right path. In the coming weeks I hope to get time to push out some technical articles on the subject with examples. As I enable other device functions such as camera, sound, and vibration that native Android code will be contributed back the PhoneGap project.
Those Android and iPhone developers who read this should realize that we can extend the Webkit DOM to support new device features using these mehods and thus the Mobile web Application becomes so much more than anything like web applications through a desktop browser.
I should have more screen cast videos of my Xspot progress over this weekend.
