Here is one of the small but important differences of mobile web development from desktop web application development. Webkit is implemented on many mobile platforms in such a way that the javascript files have to be loaded to be read at each first ocurrence, ie a block, before the engine can return and continue reding/processing rest of the DOM. That means boys and girls that the root javascript function in each separate javascript library should be called in the beginning body tag so that each javascript is pre-loaded into the Webkti cache to speed up DOM processing.
In a lot of mobile web developmnet such as CNET's and etc no one else is doing this step. Why NOT? Seems completely logical to implement it to increase the user experience in a meaningful way. I bet Google Enigners use this trick.
