One of the toughest challenges of UI design for Xspot:
Is that you do not want to go more than 3 sub-menus for the user to get useful information. That forces you to reconsider the choices for that first main application menu. For example do I need the share menu item or can than be a dialog that pops up in another window? And if dialog in another window is that the same under both Android and iPhone and Symbian S60 devices.
The no more than three deep rule translates to how many extra finger movemnts users make before gettinng their infomation deisres satisfied. The more extra finger movements the greater he challenge to make sure that user screens does exactly what the user is expecting as any less wil mean that those extra finger movements have no valu and the user will refrain from going to that user screen.
