First some background, typically we have two chips. The Baseband chip with RTOS and the application chip with Android it and thus two chips which is why the deivces are always priced higher than $100.
VirtualLogix came up with a solution where we have one chip runing a Vitrualization solution where we switch from RTOS to Android when needed and they will be showing that solution at the Mobile World Congress confrerence according to PC Magazine. Its avaiable on ST_ericsson chipsets now but expect it on TI, Intel and other chipsets as those companies are investors in VirtualLogix.
