First, a word of caution.  Before Verizon announced it joining LiMO there was an 8 month lead time as far as seeing Verizon software jobs listing linux emedded skils and java jvm porting skills as a requirement.

That being said Verizon has started to mention Android on its software jobs postings, see here.  I would say later this year there might be a Verizon Andorid announcement.
