I am trying to gauge or determine which are the correct choices for a HomeScreen Widget System. dxTop has the widgets as separate applications.
The problem is what a Android Desktop Theme? Is it the wallpaper? Is it the HomeScreen with new featues? Or is it the Widgets? Or is it these things together? My belief if that the Android Desktop Theme is all of these things combined and thus Widgets should be desktop widgets from the HomeScreen Application not as separate Applications.
Plus, packaging it this make sit easier to deal with frimware changes an etc. As far as features, applications listed as categories is being implemented and also a few other neat featues.
