With the XMLHttpRequest object missing from Android webview and other issues I have to look at a multi-platform solution that covers Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Symbian and Windows Mobile. Rhomobile accomplishes that goal by embedding a ruby runtime in natuive. code to work with a webview like construct for all platforms mentioned thus allowing one to code UI and atc in html,css, and javascript.

Thus I will eb converting Xspot to use Rhomobile. It supports GPS and PIM and camera.
