Original Post: Include number of comments/TrackBacks in RSS feeds?

Feed Description: My thoughts on Java, software development and technology.
Each entry in my current RSS feed shows the number of comments and TrackBacks that have been received, much like the links that are below each entry on my blog. Although the blog entry pubDate stays the same, the actual content gets updated when somebody responds.
While this is useful, it does mean that aggregrators that check for updates based upon a hash of the content will think that there has been a change. For a case in point, Jez get's an SMS (via box) whenever anybody leaves a comment! What do people think? I'm starting to think that this is a bad idea.
