Apache Tomcat developers released their latest version of the popular open source Java servlet and JSP container, version 5.0.16, as the first stable release of Tomcat 5. If you're already running Tomcat 4, you'll be happy to know that Tomcat 5 is easy to migrate to, and has many new features that make it advantageous to upgrade.
