Telerik's new Platform toolset lets developers choose if they want to build Web, hybrid or native applications for multiple OSes and device types, allowing them to pick what they think is the best option.

Instead of forcing developers to choose between one of the three models, Telerik has combined its existing tools to offer more choice.

Platform lets developers create apps for desktops, tablets and smartphones that run Android, BlackBerry, iOS, Windows Phone or Windows. The level of choice also encompasses technologies such as .NET, JavaScript and HTML5, Java JSP and PHP.
