Just doing a few bits and pieces on my Mac tonight and was trying to remember the last time that I restarted it/shut it down. A quick look at the output of the uptime command soon answered the question:

Sam-Daltons-Computer:/ sam_dalton$ uptime 19:47 up 22 days, 9:35, 2 users, load averages: 1.91 1.77 1.37

Not bad huh! Sadly I have to restart it tonight to apply the latest system update.
