I may be seen as a whiner here, but the point to note is that just as Linux makes another attack on the desktop, with Mandrake and Suse leading the way with great products at sensible prices, and even Sun making a good Linux-on-the-desk sales pitch, the corporate desktop is going mobile. Even many home systems are laptops now -the speed of a Pentium M and size of a display means it makes incredible sense. Yet if the OS has trouble coming to terms with mobile systems, it is not going to make headway against the existing platform, Windows, that being what I am going to return to tonight. - Steve Louhgran [beastie boys: sabotage]...
