I'm just back from a couple of weeks of vacation with my wife. We visited a variety of places in Australia: tropical Daintree Rainforest, subtropical and temperate rainforest in Lamington National Park, Heron Island, Kangaroo Island, Brisbane, and Sydney. Other than the usual tropical fruits (like the mangosteen above), we had a chance to try some miracle fruit, a small berry that causes sour things (like a lime) to taste sweet. (It was just a chance encounter: the berry is not indigenous to Australia.)
