I'm really psyched - After weeks of lamenting not being able to go to BEA eWorld this year, I just got an opportunity to attend eWorld. I am tentatively presenting at eWorld and the session is hosted by BEA and Panacya entitled 'Business Service Monitoring for SOA'. I work for a Financial Services company that uses Panacya and I hope to talk about how we use Panacya and their technologies to monitor our services or 'software infrastructure' as I like to call it.

The only reason I am tentative is because of a pending doctor's appointment. My wife and I are expecting our first baby and the timing with doctor's appointment and the session just aren't working out. :(I hope I can make it as I am dying to learn more about what BEA has been cooking up all year. With the exception on the 8.1 platform release, BEA has been pretty quiet this year and I just know they are cooking up something big for this event.

I just blogged about the possibility of BEA open-sourcing parts of the WebLogic Workshop earlier and I hope that's just tip of the iceberg.
