All of you project managers, consultants and independent software developers know the pain when one have to submit charts of the planned project. There are a lot of tools out there to do various kinds of charts and most of you will use MS Visio for that. While Visio is not bad, it cant be bought standalone and people allready using OpenOffice for their documents and spreadsheets, wont buy MS-Office, just because Visio is in there, so wont i.
I started to do some research what is on the market and i am quite happy that i found ConceptDraw. After trying that product for 5 minutes, it was clear that i must instantly buy this product. The shapes are most of the time better than with the ones with Visio (Prof. 2002) and as a software developer, you wont miss anything. ConceptDraw is quite similar from its User-Interface and looks really nice. There is even a Mac Version available.
All in all, i just can say positive things about this product. And the price is about 250$ which seems really fair.
