Sam and I are presenting two BOFs this year, representing the new company that we recently joined called Evolution. The first of these is called Testing Strategies for Java^TM Technology-Based Web Applications.

This session describes the different strategies for testing web applications that are built with JavaServer Pages^TM and Java^TM servlet technologies, and explains how to make use of the open source testing frameworks that are now available. The session includes a discussion of how to design a web application to better facilitate testing, and a look at how the resulting constituent components can themselves be tested.

The session wraps up with a look at how a real-world web application has been tested, using real code samples to illustrate the principles.
