Remember how I was tlaking aobut that there are two tiers in pumping J2ME applicatiosn to sales channels for the individual developer yesterday? Here is an artilce that indicates the underlying trends for that conclusion, Orange Sets Out Euro Vision.

Currently there is a consolidation occuring in the wireless network operator market. You are goign to see companies bought adn services consoldiated amoung operators. This is why your major focus on getting your J2ME ap sold shoudl start with the channels of handset vendors first!

Articles such as, MCIT and Motorola , indicate that the transition to MIDP .20 wil be occuring in 3 years years once the new infrastructures are in place in developing areas aroudn the world as they become wireless.
