James Strachan gave me a good OS X tip last night, so I thought I would share. When using the Apple+Tab key combo for swapping between runnning applications, you can quickly quit any running app by pressing Apple+Tab until it is selected, releasing Tab and pressing Q. This will save me plenty of time, Apple+Tabbing, waiting for the app to maximise, then pressing Apple+Q to quit.

Cheers James!
