Sunday was probably the most interesting day of this year's
Lone
Star Software Symposium. While I didn't talk with people as much
as I did Saturday and Friday, the topics I went to seemed more
interesting. I managed to get there -- at 8:30AM -- on time, and
grabbed two cups of coffee and a few muffins.
Software Development Heresies, Glenn Vanderburg. This is
another one where the presentation is really all you need. I'll have
to track it down.
I need to spend sometime to writeup the notes on the daily "Expert Panel Discussions" (really, Q&A), and all the off-topic scribblings I did. Those two -- aside from last two sessions above -- are really the bulk of the interesting stuff. To me, technical things are useful and "required," but they're not as interesting as the more general, process-y stuff...assuming it's good.
