Maybe it's a little early to declare victory, but with almost 100 registered members, it looks like AustinJUG is the biggest JUG out there. The next largest are Ann Arbor JUG and Triangle JUG. If membership is a key factor, we are in good shape for the top 25 jugs event at JavaONE.

To be fair, I'm sure the other JUGs aren't as well represented on the JUG membership list as Austin is, but I do think we have one of the biggest and best JUGs out there. I've got my complaints, but all in all we have a great facility, quality speakers, and a close knit community. It's a great JUG. If you are in the Austin area, you should definitely come to the meetings. (I also highly recommend the Austin XML group)
