Isn't great that we have a real Java community now. After all these many years without community, Sun has finally created one for all of us. Thanks Sun! You know, I think the feeling is kind of like getting socks for a christmas present as a kid. Yeah, I guess I could use another pair, but I would have really rather have gotten a GI Joe action figure.

So, yeah java.net is interesting. But if you really wanted to build a community, why not start by approving my appication to join the Java "Community" Process. I've only been waiting a couple of weeks. Or were you saving that as a gift for me at next year's JavaONE?
