Many uninformed people such as Hani, will claim that opensource deos nto work or as aJava Developer you arte immune from using OpenSource. Well the fact is He and SUn are wrong. Why?

Go to JCP.org and count the number of approved jsrs that have opensource contributions such as awt, swing, enterprise java, and etc. Now eliminate the ones you do not directly use. Chances are you are still left with parts of java that have recevied OpenSource contributions every day.

Its not Sun versus OpenSource people or Java versus OpenSource; putting it in that light is not only bold face FUD but alos lying to yourself. Now how foolish is it for you as a java developer to complain about open source or open source development methods that you receive direct benefits through jcp in new java innovations and technology?
