I really like Cedrics blog on JavaOne , i hope he continues his good coverage work. Interessting was the attendants number, seems like many people stay away from this happening this year. To be honest, its not really a ridiculous price. Perhaps this is ok for US citizens because they have perhaps cheap inland flights and know how to keep accommodation low, but for me as european, the visit of JavaOne would be a horror expense, resulting in a very low chance to get this approved by my company. Sun should re-evaluate the conference price.

Till yesterday, i had no clue that Java.net is also offering SF like services for projects. But when the email from bob or better from the Java.Net system arrived to request a role in a project, i was sure there must be these services.

A project i like very much is allready arrived there: JGoodies. A superb Swing extension for many different areas like LAF, Forms, Skelletons for standard Apps and much more.
