You may have become tired of all the SUN hashing and bashing in the past few months before and after JavaOne. However, SUN has a history of stepping on toes of the java community and doing something new that already conflicts with something done in the commmunity. For example LWGL and OAL/OGL binding and other issues, the JavaGaming Thread.

Part of the problem is that Sun assumes that their feedback of what is being done in community should come from new jsrs in JCP which currently with becoming a member in JCP being so hard is not the case. In fact LWGL was started due to the JCP barrier. Which brings us back to the point of how can we change JCP to make it easy for java developers to particpate/jopin as individual members and make it more effective in providing SUN with the community feedback that SUN desires?

The first step is to document how hard it is to become a individual member of JCP. I guess I volunteer as victim. The first step is signing the agreemets and faxing to SUN, which will be on Monday.
