Sun has just opened java.net, a new Java community site in the tradition of Microsoft's asp.net and windowsforms.net and gotdotnet. It looks pretty good, especially the blogs by Gosling and co. I think at the moment Jakarta is the heart of the Java community, even though it's really nothing more than a bunch of project spaces. All of the social type stuff should be a good addition. I can't wait to see how big that wiki will get.

Speaking of wiki's, I used the wikipedia for the first time the other day. It's really impressive. Imagine what it'll be like in 10 years time.
