We are starting to hear about JVMs in telemtaitcs(auto) which menas we should see some new platforms in tlelematics n the next 2 to 3 years in consumer products. I follow company buys such as this one detialed in CommsDesign so that I now when my game portfolio needs to be telematic ready.

It appears that both telematic and itv markets for J2ME games wil lbe develoepr ready in the 2005-2006 time span. In the case of telematics it wil be either J2SE or J2ME as NewMonics JVM detailed in the article can operate as a KVM in J2ME or JVm as in J2SE.
