Hey, it seems that Wordpress plugins aren't hard to write!

Here's one you can use to ping the Topic Exchange when you post:

topicexchange.php

This isn't the first Wordpress solution for pinging the TE. Stephanie Booth did one ages ago, only it requires changing a bunch of files in your WP installation. This one I've just hacked together uses the new(er) WP plugin API, so all you need to do is download that file above and save it as wp-content/plugins/topicexchange.php.

From then on, you'll see a new field when you post. Put something like "topic_exchange" or "social_software topic_exchange" in there and it will ping all the topics you list when you save your post.
