(So I haven't been following too closely what's happening.)

The standard Python tutorial will have a glossary in future versions. Skip Montanaro (presumably) also runs a wiki that collects these Python glossary words. You may still add words to that wiki and they will be integrated in the docs.

Glossaries are useful, because communities (such as Python's) tend to develop their own jargon, which newcomers won't understand.
