After my post about Perl line noise, Javier Rodriguez calls me a gutless Perl defector and teaches me something about the perception of beauty and ASCII art.

He also says that the obfuscated Python contest should be incredibly boring. He must be right, beacause I couldn't find much obfuscated Python code on the web at all, let alone any that would merit comparison to a Perl equivalent (yes, I even examined the Zope source code).

Then again, we are talking about a community which thinks obfuscated is mixing tabs and spaces when indenting code.

So, I gladly hand it to Perl in the obfuscated category. Anyway, go and check out what the Perl module that makes this possible can do. And remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
