Plone has been selected as a finalist for an Open Source CMS Award organized by Packt Publishing. It is interesting to see that Plone is the lone Python based solution among a group of PHP apps. See here for some discussion about this on the Plone mailing list.
Funny that apparently on more than one PHP forum, people were wondering how they never heard of Plone, until they discovered it is Python and not PHP.
Consider going to the site now and voting for Plone to help the Plone Foundation win $5000.
