The last days were very productive days. I wrote an ugly, but
necessary, hack for Archetypes. It will enable people to make hidden
widgets following a TALES expression.
During the thursday night, I did another talk about free software and
web development at Bento Goncalves, a city near Caxias do Sul, here i
live. The talk was great and, off course, I put the presentation, on
PDF format, avaliable for download. As a gift, I received 2 botles of
good wine.
On friday, before publish this entry, my ADSL connection crashed again
(I'm starting to hate Brazil Telecom). I stayed without internet
connection until saturday morning (something about 28 long hours).
During that off-line time I tried to write another hack, now for
PloneCollectorNG. After almost 2 days of tentatives I lost; I didn't
get a dynamic class generation as I wanted duo some ugly hacks.
Well... We can't win all the time. The solution was another quick and
dirty script. It was a very bad experience. Let's see if I will have
better luck during this week.
On sunday I finished my odyssey studying. Next monday will be the last
class day of this year and I will have a compiler and a research about
PKI to present. I still have to present my final proposal for my
graduation. I hope that It will happen this week too.
