I have not blogged in months, but here I go again. I found it impossible to write for a while, because I simply did not have the time.

The culprits:

  • Regular work (lots of it)
  • Barcelona (spent a month and later a fortnight there working on a Plone for business project)
  • My newborn son, Santiago (back in march, still adjusting)
  • Watching, taping, singing and dancing Hi-5 shows with my older son, Rodrigo (I now know several songs about things like pizza, rollercoasters, sombreros and brushing teeth...no songs about web frameworks or component development, though)
  • The desire to spend time with my wife and family instead of sitting all day in front of a computer

At least I have some things to show for all the work I put in. Plone now powers a couple of high volume sites for a very important member of the Mexican editorial industry, Grupo Editorial Expansion (owned by Time/CNN):

More sites are in the making, hopefully for each and every one of the group's 17 publications.

I will try to blog about the details of this work later, if I can really keep up with this blog after all.
