After 15 days without internet, my week started with a big pil of
emails. I took almost one day to read everything, but It was only the
beggining...
During my mornings, I turned back to my "frozen" projects. The first
was the PloneMall, a complete rewrite of the old and ugly
CMFCommerce. The good news of the week is that I started to keep a
website for this project, kindly hosted by Zettai.net (the project
funder) and with a valuable help of some internet friends. For now,
the website is almost empty, but some things like UML diagrams and
collectors are already there. Stay tuned!
Well... in my spare time I did something cool: integrate Visual Basic
.Net with Python. It sounds a bit insane, ins't it? However, I think
that integrations like that will start to be more and more usual. I
believe that .Net has their market and I (an opensource developer)
should know how to live in this evil world. IMHO, the way is XML and
SOAP, WSDL and all these strange acronyms. In one phrase: wsdl2py
rocks!
Next week will be carnival in Brazil! I really hate that party. I
don't know what I will do during this holiday, but my guess is: I will
be writing python code :-)
