My software development career has been saturated with programming languages starting with the letter C.  At one point I decided to summarize that I programmed in "C?"

No longer.

Today I have been humbled by the "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" website listing for the letter C.  I have confirmed that I intend to learn a language a year, but in no way intend to become a language afficianado. When viewing "Cow", I first went "huh?", then "Why?", and later pondered that a real programmer would have asked "How?" I spent my following thoughts appreciating the linguistic wit.  Final thoughts: I noticed that there isn't a .Net CLR implementation. The BatchMaster's version was impressive, with an interesting syntax for  the "for" iterator.

On to the Python examples:...

• Oliver Xymoron makes me think of Perl golf
• Fredrik Lundh shows off Python's features while leaving an open curly brace for C? programmers to hunt for it's pair in a brow crushing endeavo--damn, there it is!--hidden between a quote and square bracket.  Doesn't anybody support good bracing style anymore?!?
• More over at c.l.py, and even more in the history!

And finally, there is the Py programming language reminding me to rename this site from Slices of Py (while Radio UserLand venomately retains my cateogry URL) to something less Journal-like, IDE like, and programming language like. Course, looks like Python has most of the Py Googleshares. Rutabaga Py? Arg!
