With the looming strike at work narrowly averted, I can now attend RubyConf 2005! Woo-hoo!

Plane ticket: check.
Hotel reservation: check.
RubyConf registration: check (in the mail).

Although it's not listed in the agenda, there will be a contest between myself and Tanaka Akira for rights to the Pathname class. Best two of the following three events wins:

Event 1: Arm wrestling.
Event 2: Jarts!
Event 3: Cat herding, for the tiebreaker.

Time TBA. :-P
