I went downtown for a Cinco de Mayo 'festival' downtown. Good God, what an awful display of blubber, tattoos and bad teeth. Pretty awful, really.
I use the word 'festival' loosely here, since just about every festival downtown has degenerated into slight variations of nothing but the same vendors selling the same crap in the same area. I think I will be skipping all downtown festivities from now on.
