Hat tip to my friend Forrest for pointing out that UncleBob has jumped on the Rails bandwagon.

...it seems Bob Martin, noted C++, Java, OO expert, author (of one of my favorite tech books Agile Software Development and XP advocate has recently jumped onto the Ruby/ ROR bandwagon.

In this we see that he notes an easy 5x productivity over Java and .Net, something he has a lot of experience in (not to say web dev as well), http://www.butunclebob.com/ArticleS.UncleBob.RailS , but we pretty much knew that for about 2 years.

Here he?s explaining how Ruby can manifest the SRP (one of several good OO design principles that he?s famous for advocating, teaching) in a ?best of both worlds? way that you can?t in Java. http://www.butunclebob.com/ArticleS.UncleBob.SrpInRuby

And here's a little something for those of you thinking, "Wow, Obie will talk about Ruby/Rails until the cows come home!"

That's me in Mysore, India this weekend.
