I've decided that I'm going to start drinking a half a glass of wine a night during the week, and probably a full glass on Fridays and Saturdays. I'm normally not much of a drinker, but I've read so much that suggests that a small glass of wine each night is good for you that I figure I should jump on the bandwagon. Because, you know, I need an excuse.
Anyway, I decided that since I'll basically be sampling random wines from the local liquor store that I should keep track of what I've tried, what I like and what I don't like. I thought about writing my own little Rails app, but someone else has already done it (of course). Tonight I found Cork'd.
It's free, so I signed up and wrote my first review. An inexpensive bottle of merlot by Robert Mondavi, Napa Valley, 2003, if you must know. I have little (well, nothing) to compare against at this point, but hopefully I'll be able to build a nice little database for myself as I go along, and hopefully get some tips for future picks.
