My local video store has all of the Star Trek: Deep Space 9 episodes on DVD. So, for the last 5 months I've been renting one or two a week (or three, when the blizzards hit) and going through them. I finally finished today.

Verdict? Meh. Some good episodes, but most episodes ranged from mediocre to bad, though I think it finished strong. I fast forwarded through about four episodes that I just couldn't stomach. I can see why Terry Farrell left the show - it was obvious by the end of season 4 that the writers really weren't writing good material for her any more. Really, most of the characters weren't all that likeable. I think my favorite was Garak.

And now, I can officially declare that I am done with the Star Trek universe forever. Give me my Lost, Battlestar Galactica and Heroes. :)
