I was at a client meeting this weekend and after everyone arrived and set up, we realized the facility had no WiFi. Of course, they had advertised WiFi, but they didn't have coverage in the room we were using.

Then I remembered that my Mac Book Pro could share an internet connection, although I'd never used the feature.

I plugged in my EDVO card, turned on my wireless, shared it, and told someone to connect. And they could.

I've never tried to do this with a Windows box, and it might work there as well... but it was a very pleasant surprise to see it work so easily. There were probably half a dozen people using my laptop as a WiFi hotspot and it toook all of 30 seconds to set it up. Very cool.
