I just read this announcement from the SF folks, who say they're no longer going to support the compile farm.

Bummer. I used it from time to time to do cross platform development. I can understand why they would drop it, though. The administration alone would have been a pain - setting up jails, limiting process usage, etc. I don't think they ever setup rusage limits, though, and that may have been an issue. I know it was an issue on the HP Test Drive program. There was always some jackass sucking down CPU cycles because they want to "just try something". Yeah, you and every other idiot wants to "just try something" buddy.

Anyway, sad times.
