RJB is a native bridge between Java and Ruby which works with any standard Ruby interpreter (including C-Ruby). This is different from JRuby in that JRuby is an entire Ruby reimplementation which allows Java-Ruby bridging (and visa versa), while RJB is a library allowing the usage of Java classes and APIs within vanilla Ruby.
